Wealthy People Aren't Wealthy By Mistake!
..............................................................................................................
Wealthy people are wealthy for a variety of reasons. However, there is one thing I can say for sure: They know how to preserve their wealth and make sure it passes from generation to generation without losing unnecessary amounts to the courts and to the government. They engage in proper “Estate Planning.” Want to get wealthy? Then you should take a page from their playbook and employ the same tools they use. They aren’t wealthy by mistake.
When it comes to you and your family, you want to make sure your legal affairs are in order. It’s not always easy to think about, but you need a “plan” in case something were to happen to you or someone in your family. After all, life is a “game” of sorts, and you are best off when you have a “game plan.” You see, estate planning is available to everyone. The problem is most people don’t use the legal tools available to them.
It is also important to realize that your estate plan doesn’t just cover you in the case of death, but also in the event of incapacity. You want to make sure you and your family have the legal tools necessary and available to you in the event of death or incapacity. That will also save your family thousands of dollars in many cases.
Some say that estate planning is only for the “rich” and “wealthy.” The problem could be that “estate” seems to imply that one lives on acres and acres of land, with a beautiful mansion at the top, and people eating caviar while playing croquet and speaking with British accents. Well, in reality, very few people live that way. The term “estate” simply refers to the things you own (including IRAs, life insurance, bank accounts, real estate, etc.). Therefore, you don’t need to be wealthy to plan ahead. In fact, the less you have, the more important planning becomes to preserve your assets.
You too can use the same tools that "wealthy" people use. And perhaps your family can maintain its wealth from generation to generation.
