In my practice, there are a few issues that are recurring. Here is a question I get a half dozen times per month:

"Should I use LegalZoom.com?"

Well, I usually tell clients to read "LegalZoom.com's" Disclaimer. CLICK HERE, then go to the bottom of the page, and read their disclaimer. You will notice that LegalZoom is NOT a law firm...it is a document preparation service. Please keep in mind there is a very big difference. If you listen carefully to the ads on the radio, they clearly say that LegalZoom is NOT a law firm. They say they prepare legal documents at YOUR specific direction.

I'm not here to tell you what to do. If you are comfortable using LegalZoom.com after reading their disclaimer, then that is your choice. If you want to discuss Estate Planning with an attorney, I certainly hope you give me the opportunity to assist you.
